External Competition
“Great minds must be ready not only to take opportunities but also to make them”.  We encourage our students to take part in all most all the competitions of CBSE board and Vidya Bharathi,  Other than this, we also motivate and make our students to participated in Athletics meet, ISCKON Heritage Fest, NTSE, Cyber and Maths Olympiad and many other, they have also brought a good name for RVK.

Participation in 2011-2012

Events in TERI :  On the eve of the World Environment Day model making competition was conducted and 8 of our students participated in this event on 23^rd June which was organized at TERI office, Domlur.  Maunashree of class IX won second prize in spot painting and also 3^rd prize in the painting competition organized last year. She received cash voucher of Rs.1, 000/- for each event. Nishanth of Class X has been selected as the Tetra Pak ambassador for the second consecutive year.  For his excellent performance during the last academic year he received a medal and a certificate.

Isckon Heritage fest : Our children brought laurels to the school by winning prizes in various categories. We won prizes in vocal music, calligraphy, Vedic quiz. Dumb charades, contemporary dance, essay writing etc. 

Vishweshwara Industrial and Technological Museum :  On 22^nd July, Master.Supreeth Chadaga of class IX and Master Shashank of class X participated in a seminar organized here on the topic “Indian contribution to the world of Chemistry”.

Vidya Bharathi sports meet  : On 30^th July 25, students from class 7 to 10^th took part in this meet which was held at Chennenahalli and won many prizes.

Aquactic meet organized by Green Wood International School :  Our children took part in this meet.  14 children took part in various events and won gold, silver and bronze medals.  Master Vandith of class X won the individual championship.

‘Tiranga’ : Students of class 2 to 10^th took part in ‘Tiranga’ an Inter school competition organized by Amar Jyothi Public school, K.R.Puram on 17^th August 2011 under various events like colouring, painting, worth out of waste, recitation, essay writing and collage.

Camelin colouring and painting competition : All the students from class 1 to 10 took part in Camelin colouring and painting competition held at school campus on 24^th August 2011.

District level throw ball :Our schools were the winners in the District level throw ball competition held on 27th August in our school campus under balavarga and kishora varga.

District level Table tennis match :We also won the District level Table tennis match and are qualified for state level scheduled in the month of October 2011.

Vidya Bharathi Vijnana Mela : Our students won many prizes and brought laurels to the school. Sreedhar Bhat and Rishab won 3^rd place in Model making, Dhanya , Varun and Rakshita won 2^nd place in Vignana Quiz, Sanjana and Lakshmi Sindhu won 3^rd place in Vedic quiz.

Vikasa Vidya Kendra:  Conducted clay modeling competition and Srilekha of class 9^th won 1st place and Maunashree and Abishek won consolation prizes in the painting competition.

Vidya Bharathi Karnataka Sports meet  :Children took part in the Vidya Bharathi Karnataka Sports meet held at Shimoga and won many prizes in various events.

Jain International school : 8 students took part in CBSE  swimming competition held at Jain International School.

Vagdevi Vilas inter school sports meet : In the Vagdevi Vilas inter school sports meet our children won prizes in long jump, shot put, track events, Swimming  and our school band won 2^nd place for their wonderful  performance. Nachiketh, Manaswini and Shravani of class VII won prizes in essay writing, Yakshitha and group of class VIII won prize in collage making and Maunashree of class IX won prixe in spot poetry writing and painting competition.

Hindu Young world Quiz :Lakshmi, Navya, Shrileka, Santhosh of class XI and Anusha, Shreya , Shounak and Rohan of class VII took part in Hindu Young world Quiz  Competition held on 2^nd November 2011.

National Talent Search : 10 students of class VIII answered the National Talent Search Exam on 20^th November .

Ramayana and Mahabharatha Exam : Children of class VIII and IX answered the Ramayana and Mahabharatha Exam on 27^th November.

Taek wondo competition :  Our school won 4 gold 3 silver and 3 bronze in the Taek wondo competition. The winners were Ruthvik and Chandravaran.
