To foster the values of Hinduism and Unity, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Bengaluru, celebrated the Hindu Samrajya Divas on 14th June 2012. The students of Class 9, Sharvani, Anusha & Disha Dharmaraj spoke on the significance of the day.
The day marks the coronation of “ Chatrapathi Shivaji” in 1674 A.D. who took a solemn oath with his friends to fight for “Hindavi Swaraj”. Today the celebration of Hindu Samrajya Divas carries the spirit of victorious resistance against foreign aggression and present glorious vision of National freedom, rich with its Hindu contentment.
The students asked everyone to unite together to protect our “Hindavi Swaraj” and we shall all pledge that our Dharma and Culture will remain intact.
