RVKB, has programmed a diverse and specialized curriculum, which helps the child to develop critical thinking, and problem-solving. Middle school:
The school does recognise the fact that children need to become self- reliant and independent learners as they go into middle school. The process of transition begins from Class V onwards. The teacher uses various strategies like peer group learning, co-operative learning, project methods and other different media like theatre and newspapers to facilitate learning children are trained in various study skills by the respective subject teachers and this helps the children learn and understand better.
The questions posed in various assignments, tests and exams are high on application, the reason being that we would like to assess how well the child is able to relate the concepts taught to the real world. Assessments vary from small projects in core subjects to book reviews in language classes. From Class VII onwards, children are slowly trained to handle larger portions to make their transition to high school easier. SECONDARY SCHOOL:
students progress through the Senior years, we expect them to become increasingly independent learners with an interest in setting personal academic goals. It is our belief that rigour and regular testing provide young students with the self-discipline and confidence to handle more advanced senior tasks. Building self-esteem, self-respect and the courage to explore are the qualities we seek to reinforce in our student body.
Grade IX is a preparing ground for students to take off to the tenth standard where students will face their first significant Board examination. These two years students get maximum attention from their parents and a constant advice from teachers. Their subjects include English, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Sanskrit / Hindi. The physical training classes builds up stamina and is an hour thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
